Instrument Rating Qualification Course

The student will learn principles of instrument flight, operations, limitation and navigation using instruments. Students will also learn the traffic control system and the use of instruments charts like airways and IFR flight planning, the knowledge of human factor in flight related to instrument, enhance students knowledge in the governing rules of the air (CAR) applicable to instrument flight. Student will learn how to use STAR on arrivals, approach plates as well as departures (SID). Student will be able to analyse and plan using instrument weather minimums and develop greater understanding on decision making process.

The course will be completed 30 hours of classroom instructions based on EAA’s IRQC CURICULUM.
