Commercial Pilot Ground Training Course

Ground Course includes:

  1. The rules and regulations governing civil aviation which are pertinent to operation of aircraft including air traffic control practices and procedures.
  2. Practical air navigation including the use of aeronautical charts.
  3. Meteorology including simple analysis of weather maps and meteorological reports.
  4. Navigational instruments and aids to flight under visual flight rules.
  5. Theory of flight and aircraft operating limitations including basic principle of loading and weight distribution and their effect to flight characteristics.
  6.  Aircraft equipment and installation
  7. The general aspect of airframes and powerplant maintenance
  8. Emergency procedures

Ground training is based on EAA’s CPGTC CURRICULUM and will be completed in 155 hours of classroom instruction.
